Birkenhead Lake Provincial Park

In the snow-capped Coastal mountains, six-kilometre-long Birkenhead Lake provides excellent fishing in a remote setting for kokanee, rainbow trout and Dolly Varden. Within the park are extensive forests, home to moose, deer, black bear, marten, bobcat and river otter. Phelix Creek is a good area to view heron stalking their underwater prey. It is also a spawning ground for kokanee, a small, landlocked salmon. Located 17 km West of DArcy. 90 km North of Whistler, 145 km North of Squamish.
